SK Chimney Sweep & Son
Professional Chimney Sweeping Across Sheffield & South Yorkshire

As a trusted chimney sweeping specialist serving Sheffield and the wider South Yorkshire area, one of the most common questions we’re asked is: “How often should my chimney be swept?”

Industry guidelines recommend having your chimney swept twice a year if you burn wood or house coal, and once a year if you use smokeless fuels. To ensure maximum safety, efficiency, and performance, we strongly advise booking your chimney sweep before the heating season begins, so your fire or stove is ready for use throughout the winter.
